Marie Hsiao: An Interview

Marie “mree” Hsiao is currently dominating YouTube with her talent and charm. You will usually find her singing behind a guitar or piano. Aged at only 16, Marie is a mighty force to be reckoned with. We had the chance to ask her a few questions and pick her brain. The Nonsense Society is glad to welcome her to its ranks before she becomes too famous (which she no doubt will).

Young Photographer Series: Brianna Elton (17)

This 17 year-old photographer from Australia sent me her photography saying, “Right now all I want more than anything in the world is to get out of school and pursue my career as a professional photographer.” To her I say, YES. Do it, and the Nonsense Society will back you every step of the way. Her passion is excruciating, and I can’t wait to see what else she can come up with.

All of these images are Copyright Brianna Elton, so don’t steal them, okay!?

Young Photographer Series: Julia Trotti (18)

“Sitting in the sky, breathing sunspots, I hope my photography takes me to capturing musicians who I’ve been listening to for years, shooting for magazines and creating pieces of art that light up in the bug-eyes of today’s youth and inspires them to create.” - Julia Trotti

Nonsense Community Vol. 1

This series recognizes extraordinary members of the Nonsense Society community. It is always a pleasure to hear from readers, fans, and fellow artists. In this post we’d like to promote a few artists who have been involved in the community recently and give them some helpful feedback. If anyone has anything to add, please share in the comments.

Young Photographer Week: Lyka Orhel

“Photography for me is a work of art. It is when you freeze a moment and try to capture it with just one click. You are freezing a moment in time while time itself moves on and the moment disappears.” -Lyka Orhel
