Effective Uses of Vibrant Color
One of my favorite tricks in Photoshop is to go straight to Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation and desaturate. I know I am not alone in this. However, you and I may be digging ourselves into a deep hole of desaturated boredom. Artists should take every opportunity to experiment with color. The following is a showcase to wow and inspire you to use color to its full potential. Enjoy.
Two Teenage Girls Leaving Their Mark On Photography
I recently received submissions from Sarah Rose Smiley and Megan Breukelman. They are both 15-years-old and their work just blew me away! It just goes to show you that talent knows no age. I can only imagine where these two will be in ten years after they have more education and experience. Below you will find a short interview and showcase of each of their works. I was most impressed by Megan and Sarah’s confidence from our conversations. They know who they are, what they are capable of, and what they want. That’s why they succeed! Instances of Breathtaking Creativity 2
Out there in the world are artists who see things. I mean, really see things. These people can transform everyday life into breathtaking art. In order to do this you must ignore boundaries in your mind so that you may see how one part of something can blend into something else. Once you see the vision you must then make the smooth transition between ideas. That’s the trick, isn’t it? Other instances of breathtaking creativity involve conveying a vivid feeling, idea, or statement through an image. These artists have done just that, making a stunning composition.
