Although the Nonsense Society is filled with spectacular independent artists, musicians, filmmakers, and authors there are several that deserve special recognition as the featured artists for the new year! The Nonsense Society is proud to announce the award-winners for January 2009!
January is Abstract!
It’s January 2009 and it seems that abstract art is in style! Out of all the submissions I have received, tons have been abstract. Here are my 4 favorites for this month. Two of these pieces are paintings and the other two are photograms. Take a look at what Marissa Grossi has done with bubble wrap, leaves, colored pencil, and a lot of imagination. This is what the Nonsense Society is about! Our artists can take a bunch of garbage and turn it into art. Bravo!
