Visual Things by Laurent Bompard

“I used to daydream looking at pictures, imagining what it would be like to enter the picture itself and get lost in it.. I want them to notice the beauty that they fail to see, and the best way to achieve this is to somehow confuse them by presenting interesting elements within a fragmented composition.” - Laurent Bompard

Lumino-Kinetic Art

f5x5x5 is one of the newest installments by Brussels-based Laboratory for Architecture and Urbanism, LAb[au]. f5x5x5 consists of 375 aluminum frames, glowing and rotating as the environment around it changes. The sculpture moves according to electromagnetic, infra-red, kinetic, luminous, and spacial changes that are measured by uniquely programmed ‘lumino-kinetic’ devices. The exhibition resides in Saint-Denis Basilique, Paris.
