Loz Verney
Loz Verney was born in 1973 in London, England and grew up in on the Alton council estate in Roehampton, South London. After finishing school he went on to study art and music. When he was 17 years old he decided to travel the world and learn about different cultures. He finally settled down in Germany in 2001. His powerful artwork reflects the emotional and social grievances that Loz has seen throughout his life. His works reflect fear, pain, solitude, wealth, poverty, serenity, optimism, and confidence. A common theme of block houses are easily seen in his work, representing city life. In many ways his artwork is a visual biography of his life.
