photoBOOST: Photoshop Curve “sad” (download)
Photography is more than just taking a picture. Editing is key and curves are probably the best way to do it. Manipulating curves in photoshop without help can be quite intimidating, but no worries! “photoBOOST” is a new series that provides resources for the aspiring artist/photographer. The following is a quick download that will immediately transform your photos. This curve can be applied to any photo for a slightly different effect. Feel free to play around with any of the Nonsense Society curves, learn, and try making your own. In fact! – send some of your curves to me and I might even share them with the world!
We Love Your Creativity #6 – Portraits
Formally called “instant inspiration” (a stupid name), the series: We Love Your Creativity recognizes remarkable work floating out there waiting to be found. This installment features portrait photography. All of these works convey an unusual sense of emotion and beauty. This is what Nonsense Society members are all about. Art that creates a feeling within the viewer.

How to Make Money Doing What You Love
For the past couple months the great Angela Lussier and I have been working on an eBook to help our audiences. As far as I am concerned, everyone involved in Nonsense Society is looking to live the creative life that they love and make money doing it (yes, it’s okay to want money). I want that for all of you. I am planning on posting more articles and tutorials to help my audience. You have the talent, you have the platform, and now I am going to help you take the next step. Talent isn’t enough if you don’t know what to do with it. This is the first of more great things to come. Get the ebook and find out how to make money doing what you love. Whatever that may be…

Young Artist Showcase: Ayla Maagdenberg (Netherlands)
Ayla Maagdenberg is a 22 year-old graphic designer and photographer from the Netherlands. I met her in Boston last year and fell in love with her style and talent. We have been friends ever since. She always seems to have something new and exciting she is working on that I would never expect. I finally gathered the courage to ask her to join Nonsense Society, and she said yes. Take a look, enjoy, and maybe even learn something.
