The Craigslist Portraits are based around real quotes from Craigslist Personal Ads. I took the quotes that stood out to me the most, and then illustrated what I thought the person saying them would look like.

I think fashion is as much an art form as any traditional medium like painting or sculpture, and lends itself well to being photographed and not just worn. You could say I am a visual hedonist – my eyes lust for pure beauty constantly, imagery that leaves me breathless, colours so rich my pupils dilate, and photography gives me a chance to fulfill this.”

The Best Eyes on the Internet
When I started this site I wanted to find art and artists who inspire me and take my breath away. That’s what the Nonsense Society is all about. I decided to put this post together as an inspiration for the society. It is important to learn from the work of others. I constantly find myself inspired and wowed by eyes. Here are some of the best examples of photography featuring eyes that I could find. You’ll notice that there is something about each shot that grabs you. The eyes are what make each picture. It’s easy to take a pretty picture of an eye – but not like this:

Garry and Harry by Steven Madeja
