A Recurrence of the Gunner’s Dream by Patrick Nietupski

A merry day.
There’s no elite.
And everyone knows which mistakes not to repeat.
Where you can speak out loud, be honest with your peers
And no more
Guns are made by engineers.
Yes every gear is manufactured
For the end of war.
There’s no more shacks.
No mad man with an axe.
No one attacks.
No paroles.
And everyone can reach their goals.
And everyone has recourse to the law.
And no one kills the children anymore.
And no one kills the children anymore.
